This large English dairy jug dates to the 19th century. Featuring an unglazed bottom, the top is glazed in a stunning burnt orange glaze that gives this piece so much charm and character. A piece made to be displayed in your kitchen or dining room, either on your shelves, in a cupboard or at the centre of your table, styling with blooms or branches. This pot does feature some signs of ware characteristic of it's age, including a minor repair to the rim which is shown in the images.
