There have been a few occasions where I have fallen in love with a piece but for one reason or another I didn't buy it at the time and lived to regret it. I saw one of these rice wine pots at a fair but didn't go home with it and thought about it everyday since! So, you best believe when I spotted this one when out sourcing, I HAD to have it. It's a large and very heavy piece, that - as it's name would suggest - was originally used to keep rice wine. It has a very dark olive green glaze and the most beautiful ridged texture to it. This piece was made to make a statement. Style it on the floor with an olive tree!
