This is a piece of art that I have wrestled with keeping myself, as it ticks just about every box I have for what constitutes a 'good' piece of art. Framed in a slim and simple gold frame, with an oversized chocolate brown mount which lends the piece a warm and cosy feel, this original watercolour piece depicts a serene view of lakes and mountains. I am not sure the exact location that this piece draws its inspiration from, but it transports me to peaceful weekends in the Lake District. A muted palette keeps this piece feeling calm and not overpowering despite its larger scale. An ideal size for propping on shelving or a console table, or hanging in a prominent position in your home.
