This is perhaps one of my favourite pieces I've sourced and takes me right back to antique hunting in Paris last year, when, shoulders sagging under the weight of totes filled with antique books, we stopped for a much-needed breather overlooking the River Seine. It's one of my favourite memories of building this business, so this piece will always have a special place in my heart. A stunning pen sketch of the River Seine in Paris on aged sketching paper is bordered by a stunning oversized white mount and a slim but perfectly fitting gold and black frame. The frame is not in perfect condition, but I think its imperfections only add to the timeworn character of this piece. I hope this treasure finds its way to a home which will love it just as much as I have.
